Dr. Jesse Bolinger was born with Hydrocephalus, also known as Water on the Brain, that resulted in being legally blind, therefore his future was uncertain and the odds were stacked against him. However, his two parents refused to accept limitations, so Bolinger persevered by attending the local public schools and later graduated from Graceland
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, from Regis University with a Masters’ of Science in Nonprofit Organization Management, and eventually from Capella University with his PhD. 

Dr. Bolinger grew up in Southern Iowa with the belief that hard work, desire, and need are the beginnings of everything great. With
this in mind, he began his entrepreneurial aspirations by forming WebJOB Internet services at the age of sixteen. After graduating from Regis University in Nonprofit Management, he first formed a nonprofit organization to provide technology for the disabled, and later he created Bolinger Solutions, a provider of call center and consultation services for businesses and nonprofits. He believes that the only constraints for people with disabilities is the restrictions they place on themselves. 

Dr. Bolinger has served in a number of leadership positions including Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP for Decatur and Ringgold Counties in Iowa, Executive Director for Creston Arts and Executive Director for the Southwest Iowa Local Workforce Development Board and AmeriCorps Member with RIVA  serving refugee immigrants in the State of Iowa.  Dr. Bolinger was named at National Service Fellow in 2022  and has served on the AmeriCorps Member Leadership Council with Volunteer Iowa.

Dr. Bolinger is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Certified Nonprofit Professionals.

Dr. Bolinger enjoys many hobbies including reading, playing guitar, spending time outside and time with friends and family.  Dr. Bolinger lives in Southwest, Iowa with his daughters Graceleigh and Everleigh and Leader Dog Burley.
